Media Download by WP Luna helps you download and replace WordPress media. Its optional Pro integration imports files you select in Google Drive and uploads WordPress media to a Drive folder you choose.
You choose what to share
Connect your own Google account from Media → Media Download in your WordPress dashboard. Google Picker lets you select files to import or a folder for uploads. Customers do not need Google Cloud credentials.
The app requests Google's drive.file permission: access to files you select and files the app creates. Selecting a folder does not grant access to its existing contents. There is no whole-Drive browsing or background synchronization inside the plugin.
Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and Drawings are imported as PDFs. Transfers run directly between your WordPress site and Google; file contents do not pass through this connection service.
Development preview
The Google Drive integration is currently being tested with approved test accounts. It is not available in the version currently distributed on WordPress.org.
The existing free plugin provides media download features. Pro licensing is handled by Freemius. This service does not sell subscriptions or change your Google account's storage plan.
